Here’s what we’ll do together…
Monday Community Cooking Nights
Community Cooking Nights are when we gather to cook the food that will be served through the truck on Tuesdays at lunch.
No experience necessary to be a Community Cook! Come if you love cooking, want to learn more, or just enjoy being with people and eating good food.
The nights will run like a relaxed cooking class and community meal – we’ll first have a brief kitchen orientation with safety and cooking basics, then we’ll dive into making several recipes from scratch – soups, salads, sandwiches, baked goods, etc. Once things are ready, we’ll eat together – sampling our good work, then clean up and wrap the food up to be served the next day.
Come, cook, bake, mix, taste and see that the Lord is good!
Tuesday Lunch At the Truck
On Tuesdays from 11am-1pm (or until we run out), we’ll serve lunch from the truck. We need folks to help plate up lunches in the truck, and also folks to come and and be neighbors with our neighbors – inviting folks to sit down at the table to eat together, have a conversation – whether light or deep, or just sit together. Whether folks ask for or give prayer, we’ll hold the whole time in prayer and love for and with our neighbors.
